Frances has designed professionally for Brintons carpets, Sheridan Australia and has run a successful, co-operative textile design business, Fabric 8. In the last 3 years she has completed her MA in Art Therapy, which has supported her self-expression and deepened her connection and understanding of making, meaning and metaphor in art and design. Frances is an expert in hand rendered techniques and in these workshops she will inspire creativity and confidence in students to use drawing, rendering and colour to express botannical motif for textile design
