𝗗𝗢𝗡’𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗥’𝗦 𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗘!

Have you ever been to your coffee shop, and even though you’ve told them your name 20x they still forget? Well, studies have shown that when someone remembers your name, you not only trust them more, but feel more appreciated, important and respected. It’s such a simple way to build customer loyalty – and it’s not even going to cost you!

But if you’re like me, and struggle with remembering names, here are some tips I use:

👋 Repeat their name in your first conversation - ’How did you get into IT, Dan?’
👋 Make a personal connection - ‘Jake? My brother’s name is Jake!’
👋 Take a note - ‘Grey glasses, brown hair - David.’
👋 Go over names at the end of the day.
👋 Choose to care – it becomes so much easier if you actually choose to care about someone.

You would know how good it feels to walk into your local café + be greeted by name. So, this week give these tips a red-hot go!

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝟭𝟱 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗨𝗧𝗘𝗦 𝗥𝗨𝗟𝗘

One of the most important things on social media is engagement. Engagement is an all-encompassing term for likes, commenting, shares, and other actions that followers take from a post/account.

Having a low engagement rate sucks so much! You may spend 5-10 minutes trying to write the best caption ever, but after you post it, you get nothing… no love at all.

Something we’ve learned is that engagement is best when you (too) are engaging. That means, if you want to see likes, comments, shares + other actions, you need to be doing it too.

So make sure that you spend 15 minutes before + after you post something doing all of those things. So when people jump on your account to see what you have to offer, they will usually look at your latest post.
