A few months ago, I brought my keyboard along to a gig I was attending, to loan it to one of the performers who was from out of town. While I was setting it up, the organiser asked if I’d like to play a song too.

I was so nervous and unprepared, but something about this night felt a little bit magic, so I wanted to try.

Backstage, moments before doors, I showed my song Morning Pages to the other performers, and sensing my nerves they said - what if we do it together? The generous souls .wav and formed the most beautiful spontaneous backing choir for me, and I still can’t believe I got to sing this with them.
