Our vision is for there to be no barriers to full inclusion of people with disabilities. The organisation is involved in policy and law reform for the disability sector. The DDLS also holds community legal education sessions for professional and community groups to raise awareness and provide information on the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth), the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 (Vic) and on sexual harassment towards women in the workplace. DDLS undertake community development research projects to investigate and challenge current social, economic and legislative issues affecting people with disabilities in the community.
