Let's kick off Jan 2024 rocking and rolling ready to bring play into our lives.
We are not just going to cover the importance of emotional regulation, but also how to have fun through play, laugh and live in the moment! As well as building trust, empathy, patience, And how to validate.
If you've been struggling to manage your and everyone else's emotional output and feel drained, confused and a little crushed by the 'holiday period'.
This Challenge is for YOU!
Friday 12/Jan is the kick off day, 7pm (1hour) get ready for 5 days of fun, warmth, validation and Play!
Day 1. How to build Trust with others and self
What little things can you do everyday to help build trust with your kids, husband or significant people in your life. OR yourself.
Day 2. Show Empathy
If you are feeling ‘done’ by the Holidays period now is the time to reset and learn how to hold space and be empathic, even in the midst of other people/kids tantrums, meltdowns and otherwise difficult behaviour.
Day 3. Have Patience
Let’s explore the need for patience, and the How Do We Do It? The difficulty that comes with trying to do it and not succeeding and how do we manage us in this.
Day 4. Validate Emotions
So you think it’s easy? In this challenge we will unpack the EASY bit and the Not So EASY bit of validation.
Day 5. Have Fun
The importance of play, what it looks like in structure and unstructured sense and how to do get others to join in. The importance of Play for Children and Adults and the sense of connection it brings.
It’s time to set the year up NOW, it’s time for changes to happen so that 2024 can be the Year you hope it will be.
