Howqua River Lodge
Architect and interior designer:
Conceived as a self-sufficient alpine retreat, the lodge is shaped by climate, landscape and material restraint. Within interiors of spotted gum and stone, Hask shower and bathroom mixers, Tina joinery pulls, and UP Plus kitchen mixer in Burnished Blaze sit quietly within the architecture, reinforcing a language of durability and tactility

The Pittella story traces back to the 1950s, within the workshops of Umbria, where Adelio Fedeli laid the foundations of a family devoted to craftsmanship and design. In 1969, his daughter Ottavia and her husband Felice carried that legacy across continents, establishing Pittella Imports in Melbourne and introducing Australia to the artistry of Italian brass.
Over the next five decades, Pittella evolved from a modest family workshop into a design institution. From pioneering innovations in the 1990s to the refined collections of today, each chapter has been guided by an unwavering commitment to excellence. Now under the stewardship of Simone and Charlotte Pittella, the brand continues to honour its heritage while shaping the future of architectural design with quiet grandeur and timeless beauty.
