Well.
Thats a wrap, I guess. Despite private offers and endorsements to 2030, Rugby Australia have chosen to act in their own short term self interest. Three years before hosting a Rugby World Cup and expecting Vicsport and local government to foot the bill and invest in their vision of a “national sport” which is essentially a NSW old boys club.
This has opened the door to the consortium taking RA to court for underfunding and ill practice. And god, I hope they do.
We’ve loved the Melbourne Rebels through thick and thin and will continue to do so.
We are so happy rugby is on, we are chearing for both teams

Melbourne Rebels 2020 Replica Foundation Jersey Orders received before Friday 17 January will be posted out at the end of the month so you can wear your jersey to the game, with later purchases available for collection from AAMI Park.
