🤔 How do you take a camera move created in a virtual world and reproduce it precisely on set?

Using animation software such as Maya, along with our own in-house motion control tools, camera paths can be designed, refined and approved before filming begins. That data can then be transferred directly to our motion control robots, allowing the exact movement to be recreated in the real world.

The result is a seamless connection between previs, production and post-production. Visual effects elements, actors and multiple passes can all be filmed separately while maintaining perfect alignment frame after frame.

It’s one of the ways motion control helps bridge the gap between digital planning and live-action filmmaking.
