Together with Rio Tinto and Caterpillar, BHP are trialling two 240-tonne battery-electric haul trucks our Jimblebar iron ore operation in Western Australia.

ICYMI: BHP, Rio Tinto and Caterpillar are trialling two battery-electric haul trucks in Western Australia.
BHP's Australian President Geraldine Slattery said there are no better partners to be working alongside for this trial.
"The Pilbara is one of the harshest and most demanding environments in which to put this technology and these machines through their paces," Geraldine said.
"These trials will test everything involved in electrifying a mine in the Pilbara."
