These books are all in the Goosebumps series of children's horror novels by R.L. Stine.
There are 62 books in the original series, which held the title of best selling book series in history for most of the 1990s until Harry Potter surpassed it, and 240 books across all the different series in the extended franchise.

It's Movie Monday and we are watching The Menu (2022), from Succession director Mark Mylod.

A couple (Anya Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult) travel to a coastal island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef (Ralph Fiennes) has prepared a lavish menu, with some shocking surprises. The culinary artist has been stretching the boundaries of taste and fine dining for decades. Now, the host can finally unveil his magnum opus. But is the blasé clientele ready for the chef's creative madness?

Today is Bloomsday, a celebration of the life of Irish writer James Joyce. The day is named after Leopold Bloom, the protagonist of Joyce's 1922 novel Ulysses, the events of which take place on Thursday, 16 June 1904. Celebrations take in Dublin and around the world, and organisation Bloomsday in Melbourne holds theatrical productions each year to mark the day.
