Making the Magic Keyboard Home & End buttons behave like Windows.


When you started using the Magic Keyboard, your fingers are likely to fall into the habit of trying to use these Windows commands:

• Home to go to beginning of the line (failed)
• End to go to the end of the line (failed)
• Ctrl + End to go to end of the document (failed)
It’s going to the end of the document, not what I want.
• Ctrl + Home to go to the start of the document (failed)
It’s going to the end of the document, not what I want.
• Shift + Ctrl + Home to select all to start of document (failed)

Some things did work — just not what you expect:

• Ctrl + Left to go to the start of the line (worked)
• Ctrl + Right to go to the end of the line (worked)

Late at night, I’ve configured the light to automatically adjust to a deep red glow, with Apple Siri Shortcuts.
I love being able to adjust the light to suit my mood.
I created an indoor garden, which has survived 4 months indoors – only with LIFX artificial lighting.
Apple Home app allows me to setup different Scenes and schedules – AMAZING.

Apple Watch ECG App approved in Australia by Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) — 2021

On 2nd March 2021, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) in Australia approved Apple to use an electrocardiagram (also called an ECG or EKG) app in the Apple Watch.


On 2nd March 2021, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) in Australia approved Apple to use an electrocardiagram (also called an ECG or EKG) app in the Apple Watch.


There’s some important considerations, and a release date is not yet confirmed, however this is good news for Apple Watch users.


Many people have also delayed buying an Apple Watch, specifically for the release of these new health apps.


The ECG app has been available in many countries worldwide on most Apple Watch versions, since the release of Apple Watch 4 in September 2018.

However, it has only just received regulatory approval in Australia.
