Our ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ ๐ฆ๐๐ถ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ฏ๐ผ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ ๐ด๐น๐ผ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐บ came together for our annual get-together at Eden Beruwala, Sri Lanka, celebrating an incredible year of growth, collaboration, and success. With over ๐ฑ๐ฌ ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ณ๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น๐ working in this team, this event was our chance to say ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ธ ๐๐ผ๐ โ for the dedication, innovation, and passion that our team brings to our group companies every single day.
The highlight of the weekend was having our ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฝ ๐๐๐ข, Lindsay MacDonnell, join us for his inaugural visit to Sri Lanka. Lindsay embraced the local culture, hospitality, and of course, the southern waves ๐ โ combining business, connection, and his passion for surfing.
We were also privileged to have Dr. Ranil Sugathadasa energize the team with an engaging, high-intensity session on leadership, teamwork, and continuous excellence โ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ ๐๐ต๐ ๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ผ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฒ ๐ฑ๐ผ.

We kicked off Day 5 with a drive to Eatonโs ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฎ๐ ๐ฝ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ โ home to the production of modular ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฎ ๐ฝ๐๐๐ต-๐ฏ๐๐๐๐ผ๐ป๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐๐บ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ (๐๐ ๐๐). From up-close, we observed how ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐๐๐๐ฟ๐ ๐ฐ.๐ฌ and automation are revolutionising manufacturing with smart workflows, robotics, and connected data systems.
After lunch, we visited the ๐๐ผ๐น๐๐ต๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐ป ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐, where Eaton produces ๐
๐ฆ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐. Again, the automation stood out โ seamless, efficient, and smart.
Itโs noteworthy that these manufacturing facilities are located in smaller towns. Historically, ๐๐ฒ๐ถ๐ป ๐ ๐ผ๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ฟ intentionally established Moeller factories away from major cities to avoid wartime damage โ a strategic approach that shows the depth of planning behind Eatonโs legacy.
๐ ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ณ๐ฒ๐น๐ ๐ต๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐น๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ ๐๐ผ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐: many plant leaders in production, quality, and manufacturing have dedicated ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐๐ผ ๐ฐ๐ฌ ๐ฝ๐น๐๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ to Eaton. Their loyalty speaks volumes about the company culture and the strong sense of belonging within Eaton in Europe.
