Approximately 1982, my dads folks moved up to Warburton, and they just fell in love with the place. One day my dad seen Pop Welsh planting a tree a cross the road in east Warburton.... dad asked what u doing, he said “ Son an old Scottish tradition is when you shift into a new area that u love plant a tree and look after it until it gets bigger “
My dad still drive pass to this day, and thinks of his father.... this tree is known as “ the Jack Welsh tree” ..... x
