Light a candle, keep the lights off, and embrace the darkness. Turn your phone off, and don't even think about using a laptop or your TV — not even your smart watch! Take some time to think deeply about yourself, your past, and what you want for your future. This is a time where you aren't harsh about your decisions, and you really let things go. Winter! This is a wonderful time to slow down & rejuvenate. Its a great time for introspection and restoration - hibernation is good. Give yourself permission to relax - it's okay. Be mindful of joint pain and poor circulation so move slowly and have an awareness as you allow yourself to snuggle and get warm, read a book, get the flannelette sheets on the bed and relax.
