I’m honoured to be doing my SPEED debut tonight going b2b with the Mother of Her Music Equality & Father of Speed, Cloudy Ku 庫巧兔. Let’s celebrate 3 years of greatness from Taipei to Naarm!

SPEED 速度 3 Year Anniversary Event

We’ve mentioned it before, but one of the recurring features of SPEED 速度 3 Year Anniversary Event, dating back to its debut in Taipei in 2019 (3 Years!!) is SPEED founder Cloudy Ku 庫巧兔 being joined onstage by another artist for unique and one off b2b sets. This edition looks to continue that build on this where Cloudy Ku will be joined on stage by a favorite DJ of ours and absolute darling and champion of our scene, SAL

Cloudy Ku 庫巧兔is the label founder and driving force (read: discreet hoon) of all that is SPEED. A Taipei-born, Naarm based DJ and musician with notoriously high energy and hard-hitting DJ sets, looks to embody all the essence of SPEED everytime they grace the dancefloor. Always transcending and bringing the audience with them, Cloudy is an absolute joy to see in all their glory.

SAL is a DJ, event, and experience curator based in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia. Versatile yet bold in her selection of sounds, she’s on a constant discovery of new underground and obscure club sounds that could be infused into her distinct yet ever-changing curation. Her taste for boundary pushing production and anthemic lyricism make her a master selector of everything from vogue and ballroom to bounce, techno and more. SAL has a knack for combining these sounds in a seamless and meticulous groove - as precise as the knife-edged finish to her wingtips.
