NUC's, short for Nucleus Colonies are an essential tool within the arsenal of a Beekeeper.

Our Nucs are assembled and ready for deployment.

A little about our nucs.
1. Lid with galvanised metal sheeting.
2. Flexible straps to secure the lid.
3. Ventilation (back/front of lid) and near the entrance.
4. Entrance reducer which can be closed shut during transportation.
5. 22mm full pine construction. Base, walls, lids etc.
6. Painted.

Nucs are great for catching small to medium sized swarms. However, they are also great for splitting hives, supporting weaker colonies and as an emergency hive incase required.
