A Message of Gratitude and Farewell
Dear Amazing Parents Family,
As I conclude my term as President of Amazing Parents, serving from March 2024 to March 2026, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all our members, volunteers, supporters, community partners, and fellow committee members for their trust, support, and dedication throughout this journey.
Serving as President of Amazing Parents has been a privilege and an honour. As parents and carers of children with special needs, we understand the challenges, hopes, and aspirations that bring us together. Over the past two years, we have worked collectively to strengthen our community, advocate for our children, and create meaningful opportunities for families to connect, learn, and support one another.
Key Achievements During My Presidency (March 2024 – March 2026)
During this period, Amazing Parents continued to grow and strengthen its presence within the community through:
* Expanding support networks for families of children with autism and special needs.
* Organising community gatherings, parent support meetings, and awareness activities.
* Promoting social inclusion and participation opportunities for children and young people with disabilities.
* Building stronger relationships with service providers, community organisations, and stakeholders.
* Supporting families through information sharing, advocacy, and peer support.
* Strengthening the organisation's governance, communication, and community engagement.
* Encouraging greater volunteer participation and community involvement.
* Exploring new programs and future initiatives to support families beyond school years and into adulthood.
These achievements would not have been possible without the commitment and contributions of our members, volunteers, and supporters.

🌺🌺Week 40- Bond and Bloom session 🌸🌸
Today, Amazing Parents proudly celebrated Mother’s Day while also marking the successful completion of our 40-week Bond & Bloom Program with our wonderful families, children, and community members.
It was a joyful yet emotional occasion as all participating children received their completion certificates in recognition of their resilience, commitment, and enthusiastic participation throughout the program. We are incredibly proud of every child and family who has been part of this beautiful journey.
The celebration was filled with happiness, laughter, cake cutting, gifts for our amazing mums to pamper themselves, and a delicious potluck prepared with love and warmth by our incredible mothers. It truly reflected the strength, care, and unity within our Amazing Parents community.
A very special thank you to our chief guest Roshani Shrestha and her husband Dr. Giri Raj Kattel for accepting our invitation and for sharing your inspiring journey and valuable words with our families.
We would also like to sincerely thank Subina Pandey for her remarkable dedication, hard work, and successful coordination of the Bond & Bloom program over the past 40 weeks.
Although it was emotional to attend the final session, it was also a moment of great pride and achievement for all of us. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this program meaningful, memorable, and successful.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mums in our community.

🌸🌸Week 39 – Bond & Bloom🌺🌺
Pyjama Day & Creative Breakfast
This week was all about cosy pyjamas and a creative breakfast. The room felt warm, relaxed, and full of excitement from the start. We began with our usual mat time. The kids are now so comfortable in their routine, and they settled in beautifully.
Then came the highlight—rice cracker decorating.
Using strawberries, bananas, blueberries, and cucumber, the children created their own fun designs.
Each child took turns, showing patience and focus.
They were proud, engaged, and excited to show what they made.
The play continued throughout the session.Colouring, painting, playdough, trains, and dolls kept everyone busy.
Outdoor play was a big favourite.
The kids loved being outside and exploring freely.
Overall, it was a calm, creative, and joyful session where every child had a chance to shine.

🌸🌸Bond & Bloom – Week 38 🌺🌺
Our session began with our usual mat time, and you could feel the excitement building as the children knew pancake making was coming next.
They showed such beautiful patience and teamwork, waiting for their turns and practicing sharing. While waiting, some children happily explored other activities playdough creations, colouring, playing with dolls, and racing cars each moment filled with imagination and joy.
When it was their turn, the smiles said everything. The children carefully made their pancakes and proudly decorated them, with a few even saying they were making them “for Mum and Dad.” That little gesture was truly heart melting.
The best part? Watching them enjoy what they created with so much pride and happiness.
We also made the most of the beautiful weather outdoors laughter filled the air as they played on the trampoline, rode bikes, and shot basketballs together.
It was one of those sessions where everything just felt right happy children, warm weather, and moments that truly matter.
