[REPOST] Wellness Wednesday! π§ This one is about putting thoughts on to paper or journaling! βοΈ Have you ever tried journaling before? Did you know it could help you feel less overwhelmed and experience less cognitive load (i.e. it can help reduce the stress on your working memory to focus on a task - if you're stressed about something, naturally you may not be able to focus on what to do next!)
We know it's not some magic solution to problems or concerns, and it may not help everyone or may not be for everyone! But it's definitely worth trying.

Happiest of Sundays everyone! π What's your Sunday Funday look like? Ours looks like... celebrating one of our loved ones' birthdays π π π

Today's post is about daily intentions using a chosen word... Sometimes, all it takes is one word to guide your day with more purpose and presence!
Choose a word that reflects how you want to feel, show up, or move through the day. Let that word shape your mindset, choices, and energy.
Some examples are in the video, but some other ones could also be
β’ Focus β I give my attention to what truly counts.
β’ Strength β I honour my resilience and inner power.
β’ Balance β I create space for both rest and movement, work and play.
β’ Presence β I stay grounded in the here and now.
β’ Play β I give myself permission to be light-hearted and free.
β’ Surrender β I let go of what I canβt control and embrace what is.
β’ Courage β I take bold steps even when fear is present.
β’ Heal β I allow myself to feel, process, and mend.
β’ Breathe β I use my breath to return to myself.
β’ Enough β I release pressure and remind myself that I am already enough.
β’ Nourish β I fuel my body, mind, and heart with love and intention.
β’ Create β I express myself fully and freely.
β’ Wonder β I remain curious, open, and inspired by the world around me.
These are only more examples you could use, but feel free to choose any other words which make you feel good, and which you want to embody during the day!
π Once youβve chosen your word, ask:
β What small action aligns with this today?
β How can I return to this word when the day feels off-track?
Drop your word in the comments! π¬πToday, ours will be Balance. Being middle of the week, we are feeling the need to check in about our work-life balance. We will align with this today by making sure we take our lunch break on time, away from the desk, and also finish on time to spend time with loved ones!
How can we get back to this word if we're not feeling like we're on track? If we feel like we aren't going to get to eat our lunch on time, we will make sure to carve out that 30-minute break later on in the day and make it device free! There are plenty of ways to get back on track. Don't be too hard on yourself if you can't stay focused on the word.
