For years, Melbourne Fashion Festival meant working behind the scenes. This year, it meant experiencing every runway from the other side, including a rather fabulous box seat for Glam Up Runway.

Moments before the show, dressed in this glorious emerald Mackenzie Mode creation, a reminder of why Australian fashion remains at the heart of my work. Bold colour, sculptural detail and just enough drama to make an entrance without requiring its own security detail.

As a stylist, I’ve always believed the right outfit should do more than look beautiful. It should communicate who you are before you say a word.
