🚨 Ever thought about buying an NDIS business online? Let’s set the record straight.

Buying an NDIS business isn’t just a transaction; it’s a commitment to real people’s lives. It's not like buying a cafe or a hair salon—this is serious business.
Many folks see a registered NDIS business as a golden ticket. But beware! Just because it’s registered doesn’t mean it’s a safe or ethical choice.
Here are the big questions to consider before diving in:
1. What exactly am I buying?
2. What’s the business’s service history?
3. Are the workers trained and well-supported?
4. Do the participants know they’re being sold?
5. What’s happening with complaints or incidents?
Remember, this isn’t just about profit; this is about providing quality care to those who need it.

“That is beyond my role as a support worker.”
And then you have to move on.
Is it awkward? Yep.
Does it feel uncomfortable? Also yep.
Will some people push back? Probably.
But boundaries are not rude.
Boundaries are safe practice.
Support workers are amazing, but we are not here to be everything for everyone.
There are some things we can support with.
There are some things we can encourage.
There are some things we can document.
There are some things we need to report.
And there are some things that are simply outside our role.
That does not mean you do not care.
It means you understand your job, your limits, and your responsibility.
Sometimes the most professional thing you can do is pause and say:
**“I am not the right person to handle that, but I can help make sure it gets passed on properly.”**
Because good support is not saying yes to everything.
Good support is knowing when something needs to go to a coordinator, provider, manager, nurse, therapist, family member, guardian, emergency service, or the right professional.
Know your role.
Protect your boundaries.
Report what is not right.
And please stop carrying things that were never yours to carry.
Support worker boundaries are not a bad attitude.
They are part of good support.
