This week we are pouring a natural process coffee from MCHANA estate, as seen in our previous post. Stop in for a brew and a chat with the team.
Farmers on MCHANA Estate, Kenya. Growing coffee at altitudes over 1600 MASL can be tricky, especially when water is scarce. Techniques like this have been passed down for generations and help to produce the incredibly complex cup profiles of this region.
One of this years most exciting coffees. Kenya MCHANA Estate has produced the first natural SL28 I have ever tried, amazing experience drinking this coffee ❤️❤️❤️
An SL28 is the Variety of Coffee bean. SL (Scott Laboratory) is a research centre in Nairobi, Kenya. Established by the British in the early 1900’s they worked on creating some of the worlds best coffee strains the SL28 and 34. Known for holding amazing acidity, coco and black current flavours.
