Anyone who knows me, or has ever heard me talk about dance music, knows how much respect I have for John Digweed and what he represents to me.

For some reason, life put me in this situation again. This time, way more ready, after my first failed attempt haha, and for a very special occasion.

A few weeks ago, Tom contacted me to ask for a second opinion on a mixer he had recently purchased. At first, I had no idea who I was speaking to. But once he mentioned it was the DB4, it took me about one second to understand exactly where I was standing in that conversation, and the responsibility that came with it.

This has been a great experience. I got to put my knowledge, patience, and hours of reading schematics into practice for this one. I carried out internal cleaning, but more importantly, went through the whole control surface, making sure everything felt right and ready.

Homework done.

Hopefully, this time it all goes well.
