The Role
The Store Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the day-to-day store operations including its sales & profitability, employee management, resources, compliance and customer service. We are looking for Store Managers to work in our Store in Cranbourne.
The main responsibilities include:
· Maintaining knowledge and understanding of all WHS and food safety obligations and MarketPlace Fresh Compliance requirements.
· Shift Management for the whole store
· Achieving the store's financial KPIs by driving sales, controlling costs and minimising wastage.
· Effective Stock Management by maintaining quality throughout and ensuring accuracy.
· Ensuring high standards of customer service and MarketPlace Fresh experience by achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
· Effective employee management including their training & development and performance management.
· Effective rostering and planning of employee duties and responsibilities for maximum productivity,
Key Selection Criteria:
· Experience in similar role is required.
· Experience in the fruit and vegetable industry.
· Effective stock management and ability to meet store financial KPIs.
· Effective planning and organisational skills
· Excellent communication skills and demonstrate experience in exceptional customer service.
· Effective employee management. Ability to train employees and develop teamwork.
· Cash handling Experience.
· Proficient computer and technical skills.
· Flexibility regarding availability.
· Forklift licence ideal
· Police check required.

We are looking for a Loss Prevention Officer to join the company on a part time / casual basis at a number of our stores, mainly within the South Eastern Suburbs in Victoria. Candidates are expected to be able to travel between the stores.
Duties include:
Static and roving high visibility patrol per operational requirements;
Support team members and other security services at all times;
Deter theft and report missing assets.
Respond to emergency situations;
Provide high-quality frontline customer service and support.
Risk identification and issue resolution.
The ability and confidence to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
To Be Successful for this role; you will possess the following;
Current VIC Security Licence
First Aid Certificate highly desirable
Proven experience in the Loss Prevention and/or Retail industries.
Proven experience in the Security and/or Customer Service industries.
Excellent observation skills.
Ability to identify patterns and potential behaviours leading to theft.
Excellent presentation and grooming standards
A Positive and Proactive Approach

On The Pier – Chef (Back of House) Roles
The Company:
On the Pier Pty Ltd consists of two restaurants, both located in Port Melbourne.
👉 Waterfront on the Pier has a seafood and Mediterranean based menu, focusing on fresh and local ingredients. Waterfront on the Pier also includes a function space of up to 150 people for both sit down and cocktail events.
👉 Generations Cafe, Bar and Grill focuses on your pub style food and service. Our aim is to offer excellent customer service and dining experience throughout both restaurants – be it a family gathering, an intimate dinner for two or a friend’s night out.
👉 Role(s):
🧑🍳 We are looking for experienced chefs (levels ranging from Commis to Sous Chef) to work with On the Pier Pty Ltd to join the team on full-time basis or part-time basis.
🧑🍳 Apprentice Chefs also welcome to apply! (Different duties of course!)
👉 The successful candidates will carry out a range of duties, such as:
✅ Preparing and cooking food according to customers’ orders;
✅ Ensuring that all dishes created are of high quality and presented well;
✅ Provide input to seasonal changes and / or specials to the menus;
✅ Assist with ordering food supplies as required and instructed by the Executive Chef;
✅ Undertake and supervise daily food preparation in anticipation and response of service requirement;
✅ Demonstrating cooking techniques to the kitchen staff and advise other chefs / cooks on cooking procedures;
✅ Assist with Food preparation and ensuring all sections are stocked up prior to service;
✅ Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations, safe work practice and having knowledge of allergy restricted food
✅ Liaise with Front of House Manager / team to ensure that a smooth service is always provided to the customers;
👉 Skills and Experience Required:
To be considered for the position you must meet the following requirements:
✅ Previous experience in the role you are applying for is preferred
✅ Relevant cookery qualifications preferred
✅ Have a passion for great food and presentation
✅ Experience in seafood cooking and / or pub style-dining
✅ Solid understanding of food preparation and basic to complex cooking methods across varied styles

👉 You will be responsible for:
✅ Preparing and cooking food according to customers’ orders;
✅ Receiving and confirming walk-in, telephone, and online reservations;
✅ Managing own section during service;
✅ Walking guests to their tables and providing them with menus;
