Part 2 // The Vision vs The Reality.
Before we poured the slab, we designed with purpose. Hereās what weāre building.
Slide 1 & 2: Artist renders of the finished build. This is not 100% how it ends up.
Slide 3: After some back and forth with Council, it was evident we would have to take the design to VCAT. In the end, common sense prevailed (with a couple of compromises to the front facade). Final design approved!
Slide 4: Ground Floor Plan. Clientsā brief was āmodern yet simplistic, functional, and lots of storage!ā The design made use of space under the stairs, a large walk-in linen and ample amount of overhead storage to the laundry, butlers, kitchen and study.
Slide 5: First Floor plan. Some features included American Oak stairs with matching feature batten screens, corner-glazed window to rumpus, more storage, spacious wardrobes and double vanities & shower sets to master ensuite.

Designed & built by Verge Projects, the emphasis was for clean lines and harmonious proportions to create a sense of prominence and enticement. The colorbond ribbed cladding of the upper exterior façade displays strong vertical lines that accentuate the large viewing corner windows bordered by aluminium shrouds.
Our vision was to create a pair of well crafted and refined townhouses, designed to present a strikingly contemporary presence to the street front.
Dubbed the two best-dressed homes on the street, they each feature four bedrooms, three bathrooms, two living areas, outdoor BBQ & alfresco and many more well thought out aspects.
