Sitting on our verandah last night in comfortable chairs we enjoyed watching the moon rise in front of us and the eclipse gradually covering the moon to create the blood moon. The stars were especially beautiful last night although not so many visible as usual due to the brightness of full moon.

Wishing the happiest of birthdays to my Vince 🥂 officially able to retire today.
In case you are wondering who Vince is leaning on, it’s Bad Boy Baz who is in fact the sweetest steer whom we bottle fed when his mum (one of the ‘udder’ girls) rejected him.

Using handspun by me yarn using fibers from my 2025 twelve days of spin advent box. I am really enjoying knitting a Jaunty scarf/shawl which is half fisherman’s rib and is so soft. The Jaunty scarf was designed by and is available as a pdf pattern
