Are you ready to tackle the ultimate sweet-spot distance? The 60km City Fitness Mackay Epic is officially calling your name this August! Landing right between our shorter introductory loops and the full century ride, this is the perfect challenge for riders looking to push their endurance and earn those massive finish line feels.

The epic journey kicks off at 6:45am on Sunday 16 August. There is absolutely nothing quite like watching the morning sun bring the Mackay roads to life alongside hundreds of fellow cyclists!

Everything you need to know about the 60km Epic:

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚: A fantastic, fully signed mid-distance course designed to test your legs while showcasing the beautiful backroads of our region.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩: Complete peace of mind with on-course marshals, mechanical support, medical assistance, and 2 x rest stops: Dumbleton Weir and Habana Hall where our volunteers will be waiting with hydration, snacks, and loud encouragement!

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙: Cross the finish line to an electric festival atmosphere thanks to Triple M and our Pioneer Swimming Club cheer squad, and a well-deserved, FREE hot bacon and egg roll courtesy of the Thiess Recovery Tent!

𝙋𝙚𝙙𝙖𝙡 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚: Don't forget, your registration does an incredible amount of good for our region. Simply select one of our 13 community organisations from the dropdown menu when you sign up, and $5 from your entry fee goes straight into their bank account. Plus, if your chosen group finishes in the top 3 on the leaderboard by event weekend, we will DOUBLE their total fundraising cash!
