Jane Oakley-Lohm has developed a 3 part zoom program to help teach Adults how to teach young children to normalise changes, challenges, loss & learn resilience.
Jane brings her 20 years of experience as a counsellor, coach, supervisor & author to facilitate this online training.
The online training includes:
3 x One hour zoom sessions with Jane, were she’ll teach the skills and how to apply them with children.
The focus will be on:
• Normalising struggles & why this is so important for children to learn
• Defining a loss & how and where they occur
• Learning what good & bad communication is
• Applying important scaling questions to invite conversation & support understanding
• Developing self-care strategies for both adults & children
• Learning how animals & nature cope with loss and build resilience.
PLUS
3 x One hour debriefing sessions were the group shares their experiences & learns from each other.
The focus will be on:
• Refining our communication skills with children
• Understanding what works for one child may not work for another
• Shared experiences in applying the resilience tools
The program will have you feeling inspired & empowered as you learn to apply a unique approach to helping young children cope with life’s challenges.
