Another great December Stated Meeting at Spring Vale Lodge 389.

We were honoured to welcome MWBro Anthony Bucca, who joined us in the South and kindly presented service awards on behalf of the Lodge:

• 40-year pins to Bro Brian Legg and WBro David Buss
• A 50-year certificate to WBro Bill Gardiner
• A 60-year jewel to WBro George Madden

What was meant to be a quick presentation turned into a memorable and lively conversation — proof that good company makes time fly.

We then enjoyed a fantastic BBQ supper generously catered by Bro Anthony Naddaf, with no one going home hungry.

We were also pleased to welcome our international visitors, Steven Doyle from Edinburgh and John Clark and his wife Suzanne from England.

The Lodge was proud to present a $10,000 donation to the Springvale Benevolent Society, made possible through the support of Freemasons Foundation Victoria, helping vulnerable families in our local community.

With over 70 adults and 20 children in attendance, it was a wonderful way to close out a great year for Spring Vale Lodge. A special thank you to Tammy for beautiful decorations and organisation

A night of fellowship, charity, and celebration.

July Stated Meeting Highlights – Spring Vale Lodge No. 389

What an exceptional evening we had at our July Stated Meeting of Spring Vale Lodge No. 389!

We had the honour of initiating two new brethren — Bro Laval Redy and Bro Anthony De Silva. Welcome to Freemasonry, brethren! May your Masonic journey be filled with light, personal growth, and lasting brotherhood.

We were also privileged to receive the official visit from Berwick Balcara Lodge, led by their newly installed Worshipful Master, Charlie Hutcheson, accompanied by his officers and esteemed members. In attendance were RWBro Garry Runge, WBro Gol Costodio, several visiting Freemasons, and even non-Freemason guests — all of whom helped create a night rich in fellowship, shared values, and warm conversation.

The evening concluded with warm, hearty food — the perfect way to end a successful meeting and further strengthen the bonds of brotherhood.

And don’t forget — our Centenary Celebration and the Installation of our Master-Elect is fast approaching! This is a significant milestone in our lodge’s proud history, and we’d love for you to join us. Tickets are now available via TryBooking:
