What should you look for when considering an investment property? Here are some points to get you thinking…
➡️ Is there potential in the property (can it be renovated and the added value be increased if you were to resell it or rent it out?)
➡️ Is the area up and coming with new schools or shops in development that will increase the value in the future?
➡️ Is it financially viable? That is, is the property in an area with strong rental demand and yield?
➡️ Although you won’t be living in the property, someone else will be. So does it have features like a garage, plenty of storage, space for a home office, etc that people look for.
