Emergency mobilisation completed.

Our team responded to install and commission a power supply for an HPU unit located on a vessel back deck. Upon arrival, the scope quickly changed after identifying that the actual power requirements exceeded the initial site information provided.

Challenges identified on-site included:
• Significant distance between the unit and the available power source
• Actual load requirements exceeding 200A
• Existing setup unsuitable for safe energisation

Our crew immediately developed and implemented an alternative solution, including:
✔ Relocating the HPU closer to the available power source
✔ Installing temporary overhead cable routing using suitable rigging methods
✔ Establishing a safe, high-capacity temporary power supply on deck

Power was successfully established.

Following energisation, additional faults were identified within the HPU itself, unrelated to the supply installation. Our team later returned to site after the equipment owner rectified an internal blown fuse.

Additional works completed:
• Replacement of a damaged plug on a secondary HPU unit
• Power connection works to a container office
