With over 2000 winners to his name who else better to place your horse with in Queensland than Barry Baldwin. Barry is still very much hands on overseeing the morning's track work as well as being at the stables most afternoons. Having won a trainers premiership in Brisbane he then took up the offer to train in Macau where he duly won the premiership there before moving home to Brisbane.

Race one today at Ipswich will mark the final time Barry saddles up a runner in his name.
Shadow Cruiser will be the horse to bring down the curtain on Barry’s career when he crosses the line this afternoon.
A career that has seen many reasons for celebration 🎉 over the years and we hope that Cruisey can add to the count of glasses of scotch raised in the presidents room.
A big thank you to all the staff, jockeys, suppliers and valued owners for the support of the past 60 years. 🩵❤️

Group 1 winning trainer Barry Baldwin will call time on his training career at the end of this month.
Fortunately for our local racing scene, he won't be going long as he teams up with Anderson Racing on a new adventure.
