Big Kitty band in action on the newly renovated club stage. Stretched out across the room are: Neil Wickham t/s and pno, Mal Wood tp, Martha Baartz a/s, Zoe Atkinson t-bone, Rupert Jenner gtr, Anna Eves voc+, Coojee Timms dms and Matty Eves bs. More than enough room for an octet and they sounded fantastic..

Paula Hackney and Andrew Garton Sextet ~ Saturday 9th May 2026
"Songs Between Friends - Echoes of Lady Day and Prez" provided the platform for Paula and Andrew to explore the music that Billie Holiday and Lester Young made together almost 90 Years ago. They were clearly inspired by each other and that came through in this performance as well with top line support from Toby Wren, Helen Russell, Jordy Stitt and Evan J. Evans.
