What happens when an entire city comes to life?

From world premieres and powerful theatre productions to open-air concerts, immersive cultural experiences, larger-than-life circus performances and some of the biggest names in music, Brisbane Festival’s 2026 program is shaping up to be one of its most ambitious yet.

Under the vision of new Artistic Director Ebony Bott, this year’s festival invites us to switch on, light up and come alive, transforming the city from first light to late night with a packed calendar of free and ticketed events.
