Kody Burnham Racing

Saturday morning the Burnham Team made the 6-hour drive west of NSW to Narrabri Speedway for the Junior Sedan State Title. Narrabri was a new track for Kody and let’s just say… very interesting! 👀🏁

Heat 1 – Started P4
Kody was testing setups and getting used to the track, unfortunately dropping back to finish P6.

Heat 2 – Started P9
After 3 full restarts, we finally went green! Kody worked her way up to P2, closing the gap on the leader lap after lap and making the move on the very last lap, last corner to take the win in P1! 🔥

Heat 3 – Started P2
Unfortunately dropped back to finish P4.

Feature – Started P5 of 18 cars
The green flag dropped and Kody was holding strong in P5. Just 3 laps in, Kody got spun and had a big hit to the left rear, bending the L/R strut and unfortunately putting us out of the A Main.

Results:
Heat 1: P4 → P6
Heat 2: P9 → P1 🥇
Heat 3: P2 → P4
Feature: P5 → DNF

The light went green and kody held on to Position 5, Only 5 laps in Kody got spun and bent the rear trailing arm unfortunately putting her out of the race early in.
