3 systems you need to break past the 7 figure mark and beyond.
Now, before you say, I have systems… ask yourself this
How do I track new leads.
How can I increase my customers touch points without being done by a human.
How do I track jobs, staff, materials and profits…
If any of these are done by a human, or is in paper form, you can systemise it.
1. A CRM (customer relationship management system)
This needs to capture new leads from a website or funnel, automate the customer journey with email and text. It needs give your customers the ability to book in times for calls and quotes and give you the ability to communicate with your clients from the one software in your office or on the job site.
2. Job Management system
This needs to link with your CRM and track quotes, jobs, materials, staff and profits per job.
3. Accounting Software
This needs to link with your job management system to track suppliers, materials, invoices, staff and link to your bank account so you don’t have to collect receipts each year.
Creating solid foundations is imperative for the growth of your business.
Don’t be a p***y… Communication is key.
Now, this is slightly aimed at tradies because, unfortunately, we have a bad name for this.
However, this does apply to ALL businesses and even relationships… 🤣
Your customers are humans and want to be communicated with.
If you’re held up on a job, even if it’s 15 minutes later than your original time. CALL your customer. That simple call will go a LONG way.
Need to reschedule because of a job delay or machine breakdown… CALL your customer..
If you can’t be arsed because you’ve had a big counter meal on a Friday… CALL your customers, don’t just do a no-show because you’re afraid of what the customer says…
Now, I wouldn’t say you’ve had a big meal… Just held up on a job would go a long way. In the end, it's communication, and they can go do something else and not wait around for you…
The same applies to leads… CALL THEM… increased communication will increase your chance of converting the leads to paying customers.
I understand that sometimes you may dread the phone call because you’re afraid of what they will say or hate letting people down, but I can guarantee it won’t be as bad as you think…
Exceptional customer service will increase the value of your service, and you will be able to charge more, get more Google reviews and get more referrals, which, in turn, will lead to more customers…
