What a fantastic event to mark a new chapter for Wealth Built Right!

We were lucky enough to host our clients (and friends) at the beautiful Geelong Gallery , where we got the chance to introduce our new CEO Jeff John to our network
along with a few new faces to the team.

A highlight from the night was hearing from our long-term client Lenny Jenner, who
provided an amusing speech about his dealings with outgoing CEO Terry Powell over the years. Terry enjoyed welcoming our new advisers and shared some insightful stories from working with his clients over the years.

Overall, it was a terrific evening for all meeting new faces on the team, reminiscing
with Terry and taking some time out to view the latest additions to the gallery.

Natalia attended the Financial Planning Association of Australia Professionals Congress 2022 last week in Sydney, after being a beneficiary of a scholarship offered by the FPA - which is a terrific achievement.

The FPA Professionals Congress provided the opportunity for like-minded professionals to share ideas and stories, and to take advantage of the many workshops and keynote sessions that help inform and inspire those working in the Financial Planning field.
Natalia made many new professional connections and has taken away new learnings that will support her future Financial Planning career.

Natalia’s key ‘take away’ points from the 2 days were:
1. The industry is fast changing with new technology becoming available and legislative changes and we need to be able to embrace this.
2. In order to be the best we can for our clients and for others, we must first be able to know ourselves and the behaviors and biases that we have towards our finances.
3. The population is living longer, and the real implications for this we are only starting to learn. Wealth and health are being tied together because, over a long life, those two really are key.

Team Wealth Built Right had the great privilege of attending the Shartru Wealth 2022 National Conference in Cairns from the 19th-20th September.

The 2-day conference was filled with experienced speakers on topics such as strategies to best support SMSF clients, best practice in giving Risk Advice, Estate Planning, Investment Bonds and ‘The Shartru way moving forward’.

Terry and Natalia had the opportunity to collaborate and network with other Financial Planners and specialists. We also got to enjoy the company of talented (and humorous) Steven Bradbury as the keynote speaker. Steven shared his wisdom on the importance of goal setting, striving for success and ‘never giving up’.

Overall, both Terry and Natalia took away new learnings, new professional relationships, and the appreciation of working with Shartru Wealth; a professional and supportive dealer group who empower Wealth Built Right to focus more on what we do best…… giving quality advice and a great experience for our clients.
