It felt great to be back out running this morning.

My body has been battling through a few little niggles over the last couple of months, and it’s fair to say I probably haven’t been enjoying my running as much as I once was.

But this morning I decided to try and adopt a different mindset and gain a new perspective. While on my run, I consciously tried to make a note of things that I am grateful for.

I remembered why I started running in the first place, before I had any expectation in regard to time or distance.
I remembered that I am grateful to be able to physically move my body and help quiet my mind.
I remembered that I am grateful to be able to do this thing I love with people whose company I enjoy.
I remembered that I am grateful to be able to reap the rewards of the effort I put in to whatever it is I want to achieve.
I am grateful that things don’t always go to plan, but it is in these moments I am able to discover what I am truly capable of.
I am grateful that I can set a good example for my family and friends.

While this mornings run wasn’t my quickest, and while I still don’t feel 100%, it was a small step in the right direction, and for that I am grateful.

I am excited to announce that I am now taking group classes each Tuesday between 5:30-6:15pm out of the Moore Than Fitness gym in South Geelong.
This specific group session will focus on developing your cardiovascular fitness and aerobic capacity, utilising a combination of machines and bodyweight exercises in a circuit style format. Each session promises to challenge you and push you out of your comfort zone.

It is finally here! After weeks of designing, re-designing, deleting, procrastinating and starting again, I am glad to announce that the KPT website is now live.

Needless to say, I am relieved the website is up and running. Hopefully my skills as a personal trainer eclipse those as a website designer.
