At OPC, we believe great tech support should come with a side of something sweet.

Our team is often out on site helping our clients stay connected, and if we turn up with donuts, that’s just our way of saying thanks for having us.

Fun fact: The classic donut hole wasn’t just for looks it was created to help the dough cook evenly all the way through!

This week we attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors Tech Governance Forum 2026, and it sparked some great conversations around leadership in times of uncertainty.

From AI adoption to cyber risk, it’s clear that strong, exec and board‑led decision‑making, and disciplined governance are more important than ever.

Hearing directly from experienced industry leaders reinforced why bringing AI and emerging technologies into executive discussions is critical and why helping our clients build practical, best‑practice data governance remains a core focus for OPC.

Last week, our CEO Clinton Henderson and Operations Manager Peter Booker-Shobbrook attended the 2026 Pipeline Channel Conference on Hamilton Island, connecting with industry peers and gaining valuable insight into where technology is headed.

With strong takeaways around AI, automation, and the evolving channel landscape, it was a great opportunity to learn from others and reflect on how these trends will shape the way we continue to deliver for our clients.

Hosted at the Canberra Southern Cross Club Yacht Club on Tuesday 5 May, this unique event is in support of Camp Quality, with every ticket sale raising much needed funds for children and families experiencing cancer.

We’ll be treated to a gourmet four-course menu crafted by CSCC Executive Chef Bradley Howden, with each course thoughtfully paired to complement the whisky.

Hosted alongside Dean Druce from Corowa Distilling Co.., bringing insight, story and some outstanding drops from Rutherglen.

🎶 The vibes
Settle in with live acoustic music from Bill Olson, creating the perfect backdrop for what’s sure to be a memorable evening.

On the night, we’ll be auctioning off a 225-litre whisky barrel, generously provided by the Whisky and Wealth Club.
