It was very special to be invited to Parliament House for lunch on Friday. Many thanks to Dr Katrina Stratton MLC and Dave Kelly MP - we greatly appreciate your support of Tuart Place and Care Leavers.

Social cohesion happens in community, our homes, and in organisations. I was so proud then to host Tuart Place Board members for lunch today with Dave Kelly MP.

Tuart Place provide services and advocacy to care leavers and former child migrants. Their model has always included having people with lived experience present in all aspects of the organisation, including on the Board.

Having people with lived experience at the table where decisions are made means more thorough, considered, and inclusive decisions - all a part of building empathy and cohesion.
