Recently Metropolitan VFRS held their AGM for 2025-2026.
We would like to thank our outgoing leadership members Warrick Turton, Steven Lee and Alex Cardell-Oliver for their commitment and efforts.

This morning with a whole heap of other brigades and bgu’s Metro VFRS completed the MSWA Step Up, 1100 steps/ 55 floors of the one of the tallest buildings in Perth city!

3 of our members completed the stair climb in BA ( and setting a fantastic pace) while the others were able to complete the stair climb in their highest level of PPC.

I cant explain how proud I am of these people, they have been putting themselves through gruesome training sessions at Jacobs Ladder, for the weeks and months before today to be ready and prepared!

A huge thank you also goes out to the DFES Wellness team Scott, Tori and Billy for their support(and snacks!) this morning as well.

We can’t wait to do it again next year!
