Bit of intuitive abstract art using watercolours on bookmarks. I just love this Schmincke palette and how the colours mix and behave.❤️❤️❤️

Decided the colours would look great on my journal. Experimented using clear tar gel to adhere and protect the artwork, assumed it would reactivate the watercolours.😬

Was a pleasant surprise to discover my artwork kept its form, and I love the glossy textured finish of the tar gel. 😁 Yay to happy surprises! 👏

This year my prints will now available on Canvas and a metal print called Alumalux.
This gives greater options for my work, allowing larger sizes and no framing required :)

Canvas is pretty well known, while Alumalux is a high quality scratch proof, waterproof surface which captures the colours brilliantly in my work. It hangs with a floating artwork look.

I’ll have a couple of displays at the Perth Upmarket, they are worth having a look at and seeing the quality in the products :)

This is a huge market, you’ll be able to find me in the main building upstairs, working on my little echidna painting!
