Tomorrow night, a second script enters the room for the first time.

Written by Mararo Wangai, a Kenyan-born writer, performer based in Perth, and has a passionate interest in diverse forms of storytelling. His work explores the diasporic experience, intergenerationlism and cross-cultural collisions.

Director and dramaturg lead a table read and script discussion. Breaking down the text, questioning the structure, examining the cultural logic that holds the story together is named out loud.
