Casual staff rates with opportunity for Full time employment
$65.19 - $71.43 per hour for day shift Infrastructure works
$77.60 - $84.20 per hour for day shift Construction works
Additional daily allowances can include as follows:
$49.13 minimum Travel rate daily
$231.66 Overnight Travel
$28.40 daily Meal allowance when worked over 10hrs
$2.95 - $11.50 Site allowance dependent on Project valuation
$80 Phone allowance per month for TFPC 3.1/TFPC3.2/ TFPC 3.3
$14.43 First Aid Allowance when working as a PTWN Holder
Along with Fortnightly RDO's accrued

Track Protection Australia (TPA) specialises in Third Party Access Support, Protection Diagrams, Safeworkers at all levels, and Project Management. TPA is dedicated to developing the next generation of high-quality Safeworking professionals to meet the rising demand in the industry. Our mission is to ensure the safety and efficiency of railway operations through meticulous planning and skilled workforce development.

Role Description

This is an on-site role located in Melbourne, VIC. The Safeworking professional will be responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of railway workers and equipment. Daily tasks include conducting risk assessments, preparing and implementing protection diagrams, monitoring worksite activities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role requires effective communication with team members and stakeholders to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

- Knowledge and experience in Safeworking procedures and practices across multiple Networks
- Ability to prepare and implement protection diagrams
- Experience in risk assessment and compliance with safety regulations on both Infrastructure work sites along with Major Projects
- Excellent communication and team coordination skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively on-site in Melbourne, VIC
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in Safeworking in Victoria
- Experience in the rail industry in both maintenance works and Project works
- Minimum qualification for Metro Trains Melbourne Network is - Track Force Protection Coordinator 3.1 with a current MTM Handsignaller
- Minimum qualification for VLine is Track Force Protection Coordinator 3.2
