Approaching 24 years of running a small business, I thought it was high time to reintroduce myself and our brilliant team at Celsius Design.

Hi I’m Vicki.

Dog lover. Travel seeker. Founder and director of Celsius Design.

Back in the late 90’s, faced with the choice of whether to bet my life savings on a new business venture or to continue working for someone else, I chose to be brave and have never looked back.

I wanted to build a brand and design studio that had community-focused principles and sound ethics. And I feel I’ve achieved this. I see it in the kind of industries we work with – heathcare, social justice, clean energy. I see it in the relationships we’ve built with people who share our values. And I see it in the integrity of our team who always go the extra mile to deliver.

Over the past 24 years, Celsius has grown in reputation but we’ve chosen to remain small in order to maintain close working relationships with our clients and to always deliver a high-quality service. I value the relationships I’ve made and continue to make – whether that’s our clients, my own team or partnerships with other extraordinary creatives.

My philosophy is to deliver unique, meaningful solutions (no cookie cutter designs) that go beyond client expectations. I genuinely believe that good ideas paired with good design can have a powerful impact, and over the years Celsius has established a reputation for uncompromising design excellence.

Outside of work I am the mother of two young adults – one an apprentice chippy and one tackling the dreaded VCE (wish me luck)! I’m also wife to a musician turned prompt engineer (thanks Covid). I love travel and hiking (best when the two are combined) and hanging with my gal-friends – who are the best!

I am keen to connect with people and organisations that are passionate about what they do and want to take their communications to the next level. If that’s you, I’d love to hear from you. Our studio is based in the beating heart of Fitzroy and our coffee machine is always on!

We are united in our support for a future where Indigenous people are recognised respected and given a say in the policies that affect their communities.

A few of us here at Celsius have family ties to Horsham and the Wimmera region so it's nice to be doing some work for Horsham Rural City Council and reconnect with our roots.

The historic Wesley building was a much‑loved regional performing arts venue until it closed in 2017. Celsius was asked to develop a brandmark for the centre in an effort to raise funding for its redevelopment.

The vision is for the centre to reopen as a vibrant, modern, multi-purpose venue for the community, meeting all of today's building standards for safety, accessibility and inclusion.

Our brief was for a simplified representation of the (distinctive) building with a contemporary typeface and bold colour.
