After months of extra training, alongside completing her apprenticeship and specialised one-on-one tuition with head trainers, Claire is off to Wollongong as part of her journey to participate at the Global Skills Challenge on her way to represent Australia at the World Skills Games in September in Shanghai, China.
Wollongong is a simulated international competition that attempts to replicate the international competition that will take place in Shanghai. It is five days of planning, designing and hand-crafting a spectacularly complex piece of jewellery all in aid of getting competitors ready for the World Skills Games in September.
