An Unexpected Start!

The first round of Oceanic Dirt Sim Events- ODSE for 2024 is run and won at the Virtual Volusia Speedway in Florida with Michael and Corey attending for Michaels first ever ODSE meeting, with Daniel unable to attend due to real life racing.

With both drivers coming into the nights racing with not many laps under their belts due to work they went out for qualifying and started on the backfoot down the order, in Coreys heat his car was a little too tight and struggled to get consistent laps down, in the C-Main he was running in 4th position and going well when an incident occurred causing him to lose spots and ultimately not transfer to the B-Main.
For Michael after qualifying towards the back he made steady progress in his heat and got up to 6th position which is where he crossed the chequered line, fortunately for him a driver infront had been black flagged for an incident elevating Michael into 5th spot earning him a spot in his first A-Main with ODSE in his first ever race with the league.
He made progress throughout the race by staying away from all the other crashes and just trying to keep his nose clean and be consistent, earning him a great finish in the top 15.
