We’re excited to welcome honoured Virsky artists Maksym and Viktoriia Karpenko to Melbourne this July for a special charity evening celebrating Ukrainian dance, culture and community.

This is a wonderful opportunity to meet two accomplished artists from the Pavlo Virsky National Dance Ensemble, hear about their experiences, and support an important cause.

We encourage our CYM Melbourne community, Verchovyna students and the wider Ukrainian community to come along and show your support.

Join us in welcoming Honoured Artists of Ukraine, Maksym and Viktoriia Karpenko, to Australia at special Meet and Greet charity events this July in Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide.

Maksym and Viktoriia are distinguished, experienced artists of the Pavlo Virsky National Dance Ensemble and are in Australia to share their knowledge and experiences with the community.

Come along for a heart warming night ❤️, to meet the artists, and to support Ukraine — a must for all Ukrainian dancers and those who are interested in supporting Ukrainian arts and culture! 🎭✨

Учора ввечері ми зібралися разом, щоб відзначити визначні ювілеї в історії нашої громади: 75-річчя СУМ Мельборн, 60-річчя Танцювального ансамблю «Верховина», 50-річчя Хору «Черемош» та 50-річчя Гуртка «Надія».

Це був вечір спогадів, святкування та єднання, під час якого ми вшанували покоління людей, чия відданість, праця та любов до СУМ Мельборн стали міцним фундаментом нашої організації та забезпечують продовження її спадщини для майбутніх поколінь.

Щиро дякуємо нашим меценатам - The Karpaty Foundation, Mimi & Victor Rudewych, а також Dnister Bank, чия щедра підтримка допомогла зробити цей особливий вечір можливим.

Також висловлюємо щиру подяку нашому Комітету Ювілейного Балу, усім волонтерам та членам громади, які були присутні та допомогли втілити це святкування в життя.

Саме завдяки вашій відданості та підтримці цей вечір став по-справжньому незабутнім.

Last night, we came together to celebrate some remarkable milestones in the history of our community: 75 years of CYM Melbourne, 60 years of Verchovyna Ukrainian Dance Ensemble, 50 years of Cheremosh Choir, and 50 years of Hurtok Nadia.

It was an evening of reflection, celebration and connection as we honoured the generations whose dedication, passion and commitment have built CYM Melbourne, ensuring the legacy continues for future generations.

A heartfelt thank you to our event supporters The Karpaty Foundation, Mimi & Victor Rudewych, and Dnister Bank, whose generosity helped make this special evening possible.

We also extend our sincere thanks to our Anniversary Gala Committee, along with every volunteer, supporter and community member who attended and assisted in bringing this celebration to life.

Your dedication and support made the evening a truly memorable one.
