e competed in the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL), the top level of hockey in Australia, since 2002. They are four time Goodall Cup champions with many players featuring on the Australian National Ice Hockey Team. O’Brien Icehouse opened it’s doors in 2010 in the Docklands area of Melbourne. O’Brien Icehouse is home to the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia and features 2 Olympic sized rinks, supporting all ice sports in Australia. O’Brien Icehouse has developed a whole new generation of hockey players through it’s successful Hockey Academy program. The academy has demonstrated it’s commitment to junior hockey, developing hundreds of new hockey players of all ages since 2010. Melbourne Ice Wolves

The Ice Wolves were first established in 2010 and was composed of players who had graduated from O’Brien Icehouse’s Hockey Academy. Since then, the Ice Wolves have grown from a single team in to 5 teams, participating in Ice Hockey Victoria’s Summer League anad giving many junior players their first step in to senior hockey competition. Players from the Ice Wolves have later went on to represent Melbourne Ice and other AIHL clubs.
