We’re testing AusAlert in Tennant Creek, Northern Territory tomorrow morning at 10:00 am. 📱

Here’s what you need to know. 👇

A test AusAlert will be sent to all compatible mobile devices near to Tennant Creek Hospital in the Barkly Regional Council area at around 10:00 am on Thursday 18 June 2026.

If you are near the test area with a compatible mobile device, you may receive the alert.

Devices may vibrate and play a siren-like warning sound for about 10 seconds. An AusAlert may appear on your device screen. It will clearly say it is a test. You don't need to do anything.

There will also be a national test on Monday 27 July 2026, at around 1:30 pm ACST. AusAlerts will be sent to all compatible mobile devices in Australia. ⚠️

Ensure you can receive AusAlerts by installing the latest software update and restarting your device. Updates also fix bugs, improve performance and may boost battery life. ✅

You can find more information about what the test will look like, and how an AusAlert will appear on your device at: https://www.ausalert.gov.au/alerts-explained/community-testing
