This club was created by a walker who walked from Darwin to Canberra, over 4000k taking close to six months in 2017. A walk which is acknowledged in the Wikipedia of people who walked across Australia. The intention was to share that experience and rub on some inspiration to help take some not so usual challenge like walking 30k from Darwin to Coolalinga, walking for longer distance, breaking the

Darwin Walk Clubs Sunday sessions for the month of August are at the following locations for exercise and a welcome drink at the end.

Sunday 10th August - Casuarina mangrove walk.
Sunday 17th August - Nightcliff Walk
Sunday 24th August - Mindil Beach Walk
Sunday 31st August - East Point Walk

Starting locations are:
Casuarina Mangrove walk starting at the Daribah Road car park, first car park toward the surf life saving club
Nightcliff Walks at the shelter opposite the Beachfront Hotel
Mindil Beach Walk commences in the car park at the Museum opposite the Ski Club
East Point Walk commences at the entrance to the Park near the Jelly Fish Sculpture
All walks start at 5:30 pm sharp.
This time of year is a great time to join us for a casual, social walk
